Life

Early years

Born in Prizren into a multicultural home — Turkish, Croatian, and Albanian spoken under one roof. A Zenit-E camera from his father at fifteen became both escape and archive.

London

He studied photography and darkroom at the London Film School while documenting punk and New Romantic street style — clothes, yes, but mostly identity and rebellion.

New York & Avedon

A scholarship to the School of Visual Arts brought him to New York. Mentorship under Richard Avedon opened editorial doors at Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

Independent practice

He shifted fashion into industrial light and narrative stills, including Fragments of Home (1996). Today he divides time between Los Angeles and Zagreb — museum collections, fashion weeks, and private commissions.
